No matter where you live or where you ride, you can make a difference this summer by cycling and fundraising in the Ride2Rio, a virtual cycling event for teams of up to six riders.
From July 17th to August 21st, log your miles on your regular rides using fitness apps Strava or MapMyFitness and track your progress to see if your team can complete the epic 6,000 mile virtual route from London to Rio – all while fundraising for one of the UK’s favourite charities.
Riders can log miles in two ways;
2.Fundraised miles: for every £1 you raise on your everydayhero fundraising page, you will have one mile added to your total (starting today...)
Individual riders will have their progress combined and the team’s total will be automatically plotted on the route map in real-time.
Rise early. Switch on your fitness app. Pedal hard. Track your miles. It’s your cycling ritual. This summer, make your cycling ritual count for the cause you love.
Clip in and #ride2rio!
Take the challenge to ride all the miles you can this summer and see how far your team can go. Choose your cause and set yourself a goal.
Share your page and your journey with friends and family, and ask for their support. Raise funds to make a difference.

Choose a Featured Charity to Register
In order to take part in Ride2Rio you will need to create a fundraising page for one of our featured charities below.
There are no registration fees or minimum fundraising targets, but if you want your team to make it to Rio you will need to log the donations as well as the miles.
It's all about fundraising for your favourite cause and Ride2Rio is a great opportunity to have your friends and family support you in the virtual challenge of a lifetime
